Santi Petri Beach

  This is the other beach in chiclana, in chiclana there are two beach, one the most important ,La Barrosa beach and this Santi Petri beach.

 

 

Sancti Petri Beach



This is the other beach in this area with a length of approximately 2 kms. It is separated from La Barrosa beach by the Laja Bermeja headland. At low tide it is possible to walk from La Barrosa to Sancti Petri. This area includes an artificial breakwater at the mouth of the Sancti Petri navigation channel, an area of ecological importance and Sancti Petri village, formerly inhabited by tuna fishermen. Of particular interest are its marina, fishing port and water sports facilities including boat trips, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, etc. It also boasts some wonderful sunsets.

Beach bars, activity and leisure areas, sailing school, children's games.

High season 1st June – 30th September
Mid-Season 1st March – 1st June / 30th September – 30th November
Low Season 30th November – 1st March



  

 The castle of hercules

From the beach of santi petri can be seen Castle of hercules which can be reached by water canoe, kayak boat in even walk, but only you can walk a few hours concrets is when this low tide is the way.

You can visit the castle at the  same time wich is the sunset.



Sports


You can practice many sports marine as, surfing, diving, kayaking, canoeing...
